Berg Family Reunion

Ethan, myself and Grammie Berg headed out across country to take her home as well as have a Berg Family Reunion along the way.  It has been 20 years since all of us have been together, as my grandma passed away at the start of my Senior year of high school and my grandpa passed away just over a year later a few days before Christmas.  It was so good to see everyone and catch up and hopefully we will get together again soon. (More pictures to come as soon as I receive them but here are a few for now)

Zoo time!

We met our friends, Adam, Desi, along with getting to meet their daughter Kiera for the first time, at the zoo.  It was also feeding time with different animals while we were there and it was quite a sight to see, especially the lions.

 The lion feeding was awesome...there are 3 female lion cubs who were born last year and are now 165 lbs each.  The male lion is 450 lbs.

July has been a fun month.  Ethan turned 7 on July 1 and he believes that mean you celebrate all week long with fireworks on the 4th that lead up to his birthday party with friends on the 5th. Oh to be a kid again.  We celebrated with a Transformers themed party at our house with 7 friends & their families.  Lots of yummy food, a silly string fight, and a treasure hunt leading to the pinata.  He w as so excited!
