Girls weekend - August 2014

I love these girls....(Amy, Desi, Feebs, & Kelly) it is so great to have such a great group of friends.

We made our way to Waldport for some much needed girl time....lots of laughs and relaxing.

We also went blackberry picking, made a trip to Voodoo Donuts and took a family ride along Marine drive to play at the marina beach...

Hadley Beach vacation

Since Brian, Lexie, Falon and Lori havent been to Oregon for a while, we planned a beach trip for 3 of the days they were here.  A co-worker of mine owns a house in Waldport and we had a very fun time kite flying, relaxing with a fabulous view, building a sand castle, taking walks along the shore, E got pummeled by a sneaker wave...maybe not so fun for him and did take 4 times washing his hair to get all the sand out, Tillamook Cheese Factory for yummy ice cream and finally Netarts Bay.

End of July/August

After spending a week in Utah with Ethan, I had to return home to work but Ethan got to stay for a couple of weeks to have many adventures with both sides of grandparents and cousins.  He enjoys going there but gets really homesick about halfway through his time there.  While he is off on many fun adventures though, it does give Jeff and I some "us" time for adventures too.

I am training for a 20 mile Champagne Ride with 4 other girlfriends for August 10th so we had lots of riding practice...

We also took a BBQ cooking class through NW BBQ and Grilling school in Vancouver and had a whole day new techniques and tips as well as some very yummy food.

Brian, Lexie & Falon came to visit and Aunt Lori will be bringing Ethan home within a couple of days.

Lexie, Erika, Amy (Feebs), Jodie & myself all rode in the Champagne 20 mile ride on Sunday, August 10th, 2014.  We had a fun time and look forward to the next riding adventure.
